my 5 yr. old spayed pet dal eats grass and throws up 2-3 times a day usually before she eats in the morning (before she poops) and at night after food is digested. Nothing comes up but the grass. She's done this occasionally but more in the last few months. Any ideas?

she may have a weak stomach try mixing a less fatty food with hers untill she is use to it so you can switch . try IAMS for senior dogs

what brand of food are you feeding your dalmation? you will probably find that shes eating a brand of food thats too rich for her. dogs usually eat grass to help digestion so if that gives you any ideas why she does this. Foods that are high in protein are not good for your dog and may cause this but im not sure if thats the reason for your dogs behaviour! hope ive helped you good luck

My vet has told us that eating grass is often a sign of boredom in the dalmation. Try walking her more often.

we have a dalmation that had the same problem, and found out it was his food. we had to change his food several times and now he is fine. we have him and our dashund on pedigree. hope this helps or u have already found a cure. but if not try this.

put the dog to sleep if it contines for 3 or 4 weeks it could have an internal virus

or take it to the vet to have test run
