skin irritation

My dal sleeps with me. And recently I have developed a kind of rash or skin irritation. I'm not sure if I had an allergic reaction to something. Or if Penelope, my 5 1/2 month old dalmation has a condition that doesn't show up on her, but makes little raised bumps one me. She has been sleeping with me for about 3 months, and this just started about 3 weeks ago.

I am not a expert but I would think skin rash or irritation we have a 5 year old Dal. and she has slept with us for a long time with no problems.

When my dalmation was a puppy. He got the same thing. After spending hundreds of dollars for the doggie demotoligist I found out he was allergic to down. Which I had on my bed and pillows. He was also allergic to red cedar, what was in his dog bed. Also, dust mites, and other stuff. I was given shots I had to give him and eventually just stopped and had already removed those items from the house. So you may think of those things on your bed or on his. Michele

most dalmatians have allergys,some suffer more than others,my female happens to be one of them that suffers tremendeously.take your dals to a vet,get them on meds& allergy baths as needed.keep the dog inside if possible...
