My Poor Labrador Is Sick Please Help!

My poor 8 year old black lab is sick! I love her soo much. My parents don't think it is nessasary to bring her to the vet, but i think we should. She is very tender on her back end. Does anyone know what is wrong with her? Latley she has been very itchy there but there is not signs of a rash. I hope she is ok? What should I do. P.s. I added her picture

the tenderness or your labs back could be hip dysplasia but ive got no idea to why she has started itching. if i was in your shoes id take her to the vets

Hello. I am a vet tech and red your email. I don't know what you mean by "back end" but if you mean the anal area...anal glands can become impacted (filled up and infected). This can cause them to constantly turn around to lick or scratch, they can also scoot around dragging their bottom on the ground. I recommend going to the vet!!!

I would think that it is the anal glands too I used to work at a vets office and that sounds about right. It would make the dog itchy and sore especially if they are impacted.
